A NEW service was on show at a charity centre for the visit of the Fareham MP Mark Hoban.

He visited the KIDS Centre in Salterns Lane, Fareham, to learn about its new Face 2 Face project.

The scheme acts as a support service for families who have recently discovered their child has a disability as well as those who have a child in the early stages of diagnosis or are in a challenging phase of their child’s life.

During his visit, Mr Hoban chatted to staff and learned how they help the local community.

He said: ‘The vital work of our KIDS centre simply cannot be overstated. It operates as a one-stop shop for both parents and children – providing a safe and friendly environment to have fun and get professional advice.’
