MUMS campaigning against cuts to Sure Start centres raised cash towards their mission at a coffee morning in Gosport.

The event at the Haven children’s centre raised £45 for the Save Our Children’s Centre (SOCC) Hampshire campaign and helped raise awareness about the county council’s plans to reduce 81 centres to 53.

Kate Reynolds, co-founder of SOCC Hampshire, said: ‘The event was an excellent opportunity to meet parents from across the region who are raising awareness and support for the campaign.’
