MUSIC lovers will be in for a treat at a pub’s annual beer festival.

The Winchester Arms, in Winchester Road, Buckland, has arranged for several live bands to perform at its event during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee at the start of June.

Jazz act Skunkfunk, indie rockers Nocturno and Gosport rockers The Teapot Junkies will take to a stage inside the bar.

Other local bands will also feature at the beer bash, which is in its fifth year.

A total of 20 real ales and eight perries and ciders will be on offer.

A percentage of profits will go towards Binstead Community Centre, in Langley Road, Buckland.

Last year £800 was raised for the centre, which looks after young children and their families.

Landlord Paul Fewings, 45, said: ‘I’m really looking forward to it.

‘Every year it keeps getting better and better.’
