A GRAMMY-winning pop star has announced a rescheduled date for a concert she postponed after being taken ill.

Foxes, the performing name of Louisa Rose Allen, is now set to appear at The Wedgewood Rooms in Albert Road, on Tuesday, May 10.

She had originally been due to appear at the Southsea venue on March 7, which was then rescheduled for March 13, but on doctor’s advice she postponed all remaining dates on her UK tour.

The singer, who grew up in Southampton, was diagnosed with a chest infection and told to rest. She said at the time: ‘I feel awful, I have been enjoying playing the new songs to you all so much – but I can hardly talk, let alone sing right now.

‘It breaks my heart to cancel these shows, I’m so sorry.’
