A theatre company is highlighting the issues around climate change for a new show this autumn.

Riding Lights Theatre Company is coming to Cosham Baptist Church to perform Baked Alaska – a comical show which it says has a serious message.

It brings together interconnected stories of the wild and unpredictable effects of climate change from the four corners of the earth.

The show is presented in partnership with Christian Aid, Operation Noah and the Diocese of Lichfield, hoping to raise a compassionate voice in the run-up to the United Nations conference on climate change in Paris in December.

The show takes place in Havant Road on Thursday, October 8 at 7.15pm.

Tickets are £12 and £9 for concessions.

Young people are encouraged to attend, with tickets for groups of more than eight under 18s at £7.50 per person.

For tickets call 01904 613000 or for more information go to ridinglights.org/baked-alaska.
