Non-stop biking challenge is a real test
THE ultimate challenge in endurance cycling will take place at Goodwood.
Cyclists will need grit and determination to take part in RIDE 24, a 24-hour cycling challenge at the track, near Chichester.
Organised by children’s charity Action Medical Research, the event is open to relay teams of four as well as solo riders.
Event manager Sarah Stevenson, from Action Medical Research, said: ‘This is the ultimate in biking challenges and the only event of its kind in the UK, with teams racing day and night around the famous Goodwood circuit.
‘It’s your chance to push yourself to the limit in an exciting, well-supported and unforgettable experience, and all for a good cause.’
She added: ‘We want this year’s event to be bigger, better and more competitive than ever.’
Research being supported by Action Medical Research includes work around meningitis, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and premature birth.
The fundraising event takes place on June 23 and 24. For more information and to register, visit action.org.uk/ride24.
