RACHEL EDGE: Brexit sparked young people’s political passions

PUPILS at a primary school in Leigh Park recently awarded with an 'outstanding' Ofsted grade celebrated their success with fun and games.

Warren Park Primary put on an 0-day (O for Outstanding) last Friday and invited children and their parents to indulge in a variety of activities.

Among these were art workshops, street dance, yoga, a samba band, sports, T-shirt printing and even a disco for the adults.

Headteacher Colin Harris said: 'It was a tremendous day with activities for everyone and a great way to mark our excellent Ofsted .'
