A YOUNG dance troop from Gosport aims to raise funds to send them to the Hip Hop World Dance Championships.

The Synchronise Hip Hop school, in Bolton Drive, Gosport, has qualified for the event in August, but does not have the funds to get to the finals in Glasgow.

In the past few months, staff and students at the school have hosted a variety of events to raise money and been amazed by the generosity of the Gosport and Fareham residents.

Now the school is making one last push to collect the vital funds that is needed.

The school will be holding a family fun day tomorrow, at the Carisbrooke Arms, in Carisbrooke Road, Gosport, from midday.

Families will be able to support the school throughout the day by donating through raffles, games and many other activities which will be on offer.

Students at the school, pictured left, have been working hard to get to the world championship and are asking for the support of the Gosport residents once more to get them there.
