All these celebrity tweeters just can’t have it both ways

Have your say

I don’t understand and still can’t fully embrace the age of social networking.

I accept that business professionals can use it as a tool for promotion, but what I can’t quite get my head around is why so many celebrities use it.

They moan constantly about how they should be allowed to have private lives and hate the attention of the paparazzi.

But then they’re tweeting about where they’re going for lunch and what they had for breakfast. It doesn’t make sense.

What’s also bizarre to me is how pregnant TV presenter Holly Willoughby has been tweeting during labour.

Am I the only person in the world who thinks that the birth of a child should be kept as a strictly private matter?
