Can a harbour jaunt get you in big trouble with the navy?

Children adore being spoilt by their grandparents, but is it too much?

Have your say

I am delighted that good friends of ours have given up on the hustle and bustle of Southsea, with its lack of parking, and joined us in Gosport.

My mate Jimmy is a paddle-boarder and has often shocked walkers along Southsea seafront as he appears to be walking on water.

Well that paddle-board is now over here, taking in the delights of Haslar Marina and basically being a hazard to shipping.

As all men with daft ideas do, I now plan to buy a kayak and join him on jaunts around the harbour.

Does anyone know if there is a harbour rule book?

I’d imagine the Royal Navy might get rather nervous if we get too close.

Take aim, fire!
