Thank you so much to all the people who made it to the D-Day Museum in Southsea on Sunday to witness Five Beaches – a play I wrote about D-Day that was performed by an all-male ensemble from Bay House school in Gosport.

The cast was phenomenal and I was quite overcome by it all, so I would like to apologise to the people who waited to speak to me and whom I then dismissed with snot and mascara running down my face in equal quantities.

If you want to see the play, there is another showing this Saturday at St Faith’s Church in Lee-on-the-Solent at 2pm.

No need to buy a ticket in advance, but a pot will be available to make a donation (suggested at £3 a person to enable the school to bring more performances into the community).
