Have your say

I’ve been back hosting the breakfast show this week as fellow News columnist Steve Power has had a week off in Majorca.

While Steve raves in Magaluf, I’m back to getting up at 4.30am.

But I have to say that, at this time of the year, it’s very special to be around to see the sun rise.

As a breakfast presenter myself for 15 years, I would normally go to sleep in the afternoon.

But this led to a constant jetlag feeling with two rounds of four hours’ sleep.

So this week it’s bedtime at 9pm. I’ve felt more alert and fresher because of that.

But it didn’t stop my head from falling back and my mouth opening on the Ryde catamaran on Monday!
