Eric Cantona's idea of saying 'non' is worth considering

The drivers' dispute might be over, but at what cost?

We're all in this together, they tell us. Well, Eric Cantona suggests that we just say 'non' to the banks.

He has a point, especially when the Financial Services Authority has closed its investigation into the Royal Bank of Scotland, including its former chief executive Sir Fred Goodwin.

So the FSA has allowed some of the biggest names involved in the financial crisis to go on enjoying their lavish lifestyles while the taxpayer provides the 45bn bailout and suffers the cuts.

Perhaps Eric's idea is sound: to remove funds from local banks might prompt politicians to make the bankers pay rather than the taxpayer.
