Facing the pain of NHS booklet

Internet trolls can be very cruel

Snide remarks are just like playground name-calling

Have your say

As many of you know, Ma’s got dementia and she’s in a private nursing home.

I’ve had months of paperwork with confusing gobbledegook, driving me bonkers.

The latest, an NHS 11- page booklet, arrived a few days ago.

It appears Ma may be entitled to free continuing health care – or maybe not, or if she gets it, it could be taken away again.

Having waded through pages of ‘primary health need, nature, complexity, intensity, unpredictability, checklist tool, fast track tool, decision support tool, joint package, local resolution procedure’ THREE times, my head hurts.

The accompanying letter gives an appointment time of 1pm, but this may be subject to change. Brill.

I also spent TWO hours last week having financial procedures explained, that I should have been told about five months ago.... it’s a nightmare.
