Fining a hospital is unfair as it affects service to patients

Have your say

I’m concerned about a fine imposed on the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham because it has failed to meet targets.

I really think we should be told what happens to that money.

Can the hospital trust afford to lose £900,000?

When we’re constantly told there is never enough money to go round, hospital fines are the last thing we need.

A recent visit to the QA with my pregnant wife meant a long wait, but excellent and caring service.

When targets are not met, shouldn’t heads roll? This is generally what happens in all other businesses.

By fining the trust, we the public suffer too.

That is not fair and not the answer.
