Forget eBay, I reckon car boot sales are still very much the way forward. My other half decided it was time to dejunk the garage and we spent most of Saturday loading our ‘treasure’ into the back of the car.
Ten years’ worth of clothes also went in, along with a smoothie maker, an espresso machine and some of my old racquets.
It’s amazing how many people want your old tat. At 6am the hatchback was already being targeted by eager folk wanting to find an early bargain.
By midday we were done. Shoes went for £2, the smoothie maker £3. But upon counting our bounty we were just shy of £200! Problem is if you look at other stalls you end up buying more tat.
