Getting to the finish is all about rhythm and breathing

Have your say

Rhythm is the answer, apparently. The question? Why, that’s easy. ‘How will I run 10 miles?’

Having been to a running club, been made to sprint along South Parade and generally turned into a premature geriatric because of muscle fatigue, I’ve learned the key to success is listening to the rhythm of your step, getting your breathing in time and then just keeping going at a manageable pace.

Having spent an hour practising techniques at the running club, I now know how to breathe correctly.

But it won’t sound pretty. So if you’re running in the Great South and you hear someone sounding like they’re about to give birth, that’ll be me. A hello and some sponsorship at would be nice.
