Good cheer of am-dram cast made Robin Hood very funny

It can be hard when someone you know invites you to go and see their am-dram production.

Luckily for me, Robin Hood performed at the Alverbank in Gosport last weekend was really very funny.

Part of that was the lines, but mostly it was based on the fact that the cast consistently forgot them, but covered that up with good humour and cheer.

They looked like they were having so much fun, which made it so much fun.

It’s a great tradition that we should be careful to support. The sound might be a bit off and the sets not up to professional standard and all of that. But hey, you generally get your money’s worth. Check out pad.hampshire.org.uk for a list of who is doing what this year and get yourself a bit of culture.
