Havant is well worth a visit for literary festival events

VERITY LUSH: Yet another example of distasteful American influence sweeping the UK

Have your say

I’m rather pleased to tell you that I’m the writer in residence for the Havant Literary Festival, which starts on Friday.

This means that, aside from swanning around and excitedly telling everyone that I’m a writer in residence, I get to attend loads of great events and even run a couple of my own.

One is sold out (oh, how I love the sound of that), but the other has a few spots available.

So if you’re interested in coming to my seminar on how to ‘write yourself out of a rut’ next Friday (Oct 10), all you need do is go to havantlitfest.org.uk and book online.

You’ll also find loads of other really cool stuff listed there – author talks, plays and poetry to name just a few.

Seriously, Havant is well worth a visit.
