CHERYL GIBBS: Not a great film, but I still balled my eyes out

Have your say

I read that Lance Batchelor, the chief executive of Domino’s Pizza, wants more immigrants to be allowed into the country as he needs them to work in his lower-paid jobs, such as chefs and drivers.

I think the figure he quoted was something like 1,000 available jobs across the country ready to be filled right now, but people in this country aren’t willing to work for the money he’s offering.

This really annoyed me. You see, I once applied for a job as a pizza technician (or some fancy name for it) and didn’t even get an acknowledgement.

Now pizzas are just about the only item that I can cook with any skill.

So I’m really rather miffed, but not enough to stop me from buying Mr Batchelor’s yummy pizzas.
