Have your say

Sherlock Holmes liked to say that once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.

I fear, however, that the world’s only consulting detective would be sinking under the weight of theories and counter-theories about what happened to Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.

I don’t want to trivialise the continuing search – no-one who saw footage of those waiting for news of their loved ones would want to.

At the time of writing this, debris was spotted off the coast of Australia and planes were scouring 17ft waves to see if it was part of MH 370.

Meanwhile, speculation goes on. I just hope that the truth will eventually come out to give those relatives some kind of closure.
