As part of my plan to lose a stone before I get married, I decided to join a slimming group.
My biggest problem is that I always think I’m being good, eating freshly-prepared food and natural yoghurt for breakfast with banana etc.
But for some reason the pounds aren’t shifting. I do feel slimmer and happier though and, despite working in London, I’m still working out with my sister Michelle a couple of times a week.
I went to a midweek slimming group in Copnor. But I had to work late at ITN so didn’t get into the train station until 8pm – and the group started at 7.30pm.
I walked in during an emotional talk by a lady who couldn’t understand why she hadn’t shed pounds that week. I didn’t know whether to stay or leave.
