I’m feeling guilty as my wife would love a trip to the sun

Santorini sunset: paradise, but constant Greek sunshine can wear thin

LESLEY KEATING: Living the sun-kissed dream is OK, but I missed England

Have your say

As we batten down the hatches ready for a stormy weekend, my friend Stuart keeps posting Facebook photos of his short break in Tenerife.

Returning on Christmas Eve, a week in the sun is just what the doctor ordered, he says.

It’s 22C and sunny during the day, 17C at night, shorts and T-shirt all the way.

To make matters worse, we’re looking after his bonkers two-year-old Collie dog Jake.

I do feel guilty though, as my wife would love such a trip, if only her husband would fly.

Oh look, another Facebook status update.

Apparently easyJet is hosting courses on the fear of flying. Thanks Stu!
