Have your say

The Ice Bucket Challenge is my idea of hell on earth. So why would anyone want to do that?

Well, to support charity you get a bucket of icy water poured over your head, post the video online and then donate money for the pleasure.

Yikes. I just hope I never get nominated.

What I do like is the way that these challenges raise both awareness and lots of money pretty quickly and that everyone can get involved.

It’s cool (see what I did there?) that people sponsor themselves and you’re not being asked to donate for someone to go off and walk the Atlas mountains (which seems rather too nice if you ask me – rather like a holiday that I’d quite like to embark upon).
