The cafe selling breast milk ice cream had scored an own goal long before it discovered its product was to be banned due to health risks.

There are better ways to educate people about the benefits of breast feeding than turning breast milk into a dessert and selling it for £14 a serving. Bizarre doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Yet the parlour involved still got a mum and used her like a dairy cow to produce enough milk to churn into a tea-time treat.

There’s clearly nothing wrong with breast feeding. It’s not a sexual thing, it’s about feeding your child.

Victoria Hiley – the mum being milked – was already raising awareness about breast feeding. Encouraging men and other mums to lap it up was counter-productive.
