It’s elementary - I’d like to see more Sherlock episodes

CHERYL GIBBS: Not a great film, but I still balled my eyes out

Have your say

How could I have missed the first series of the excellent Sherlock?

Actually, it’s not that hard to work it out. It wouldn’t take any great powers of deduction to realise that I live in a permanent state of frustration at the usual offerings on the box and so very rarely venture to read a TV guide to see if anything new has come out amid the endless drearyality shows which bore me to tears.

But it was my good fortune to happen upon the second series of Sherlock – and I’ve enjoyed every episode.

One thing though. What a shame that there were so few. Still, the argument of quality over quantity is one that I can’t disagree with.

I just hope they’re busy making series three as it’s certainly been one of my few televisual must-sees.
