It was Wendi Murdoch that made watching worthwhile

If you’re like me, then by now you’ll be pretty bored of the News of the World phone hacking scandal.

But I found the antics in the House of Commons this week, seeing James and Rupert Murdoch trying to apologise and worm their way out of the mess when appearing before the Culture, Media and Sport committee, highly entertaining.

However, they weren’t the stars of the show. What made watching the coverage really worthwhile was seeing Murdoch senior’s wife Wendi leap to the defence of her husband when Jonathan May-Bowles attempted to shove a pie in his face.

She sent May-Bowles flying with a strike to the head and then picked up the remains of the pie and rammed it into his face.

Go girl!
