James’s free-climbing had me hiding behind the sofa

It’s normally horror films that get you hiding behind the sofa, not Channel 4 on a Sunday night.

But this is what happened during Don’t Look Down, a documentary following free-climber James Kingston from Southampton.

He came to public attention when he posted a YouTube video of himself hanging by one arm off the top of a 90m crane over Ocean Village.

In the documentary he travelled to the Ukraine to meet a like-minded chap, who also loved heights.

Sweaty palms were out of the question as James performed a somersault at the very top of a 600m bridge. And I could hardly dare watch as his friend hung from the bridge by just James’s arm!
