According to the Met Office, autumn started last Monday. Now a lot of people would find this depressing, but I love autumn.

I’m not especially bothered about the colder weather, as I love getting out the winter coat, hat, gloves and scarf and wrapping up against the chill.

You can also start eating soup and shepherd’s pie!

The frosty mornings can be stunning, although if you have to drive to work it’s not so lovely.

But it’s definitely one of the more beautiful seasons, with the leaves slowly turning a range of gorgeous colours.

The best bit, though, is that Christmas is coming! While everyone moans about the nights drawing in I’ll be happily sipping mulled cider and writing my list for Santa.
