Loved the sculptures, but for me the best part was the loo

My husband discovered a gem last week for our wedding anniversary.

That’s not to say he found a diamond or anything sparkly. But he did take me to Goodwood Sculpture Park. It’s near the racecourse high above Chichester and consists of a few acres of ground that houses around 80 sculptures set in the woods.

They’re all for sale, but with the price tags from around £40,000 upwards, they’re not exactly in my price bracket.

Which is just as well as, to be honest, most of them wouldn’t fit in our back garden anyway.

But the park is a cool place to see work by luminaries of the sculpture world in a rural setting.

The art wasn’t my favourite part though. Nope, that was the open air toilets.
