There aren’t many folk who can say they’ve worked with legendary stars such as Tommy Cooper, Morecambe and Wise and Spike Milligan, as well as music icons The Who and Marc Bolan and T-Rex.
Well, one local lad can. Since the tender age of 16, Nigel Stewart has been involced running theatres from Worthing to Tunbridge Wells.
He was also responsible for putting on the sell-out musical Annie starring Faith Brown at the Guildhall in Portsmouth back in 1994.
Forty-four years on and about to turn the big 6-0, Nige is still feeling that sprinkling of stardust as he regularly dons his dress suit to work front-of-house at the Kings Theatre in Southsea.
