No Olympic tickets, but I’m still feeling excited about it

RICK JACKSON: Why aren’t we on the streets protesting about Brexit?

Have your say

What are you doing to celebrate the Olympics? As more and more events start springing up, I’m really starting to get excited about all the bits and bobs we’ll be doing (seeing as we didn’t get any tickets to the main events).

I’m planning what bells we’ll be ringing on July 27 (also my birthday) and this week I’ve booked our tickets to go to the Fire Garden at Stonehenge.

This looks truly awesome. Apparently, the stones will come alive with fire sculptures and thousands of candles will line the pathways. You have to walk a mile to the stones through fields, and it doesn’t start until 9pm.

But hey, at least the children will have something truly spectacular to remember – if the July weather’s okay, that is.
