Have your say

When I woke up on Saturday, admittedly in a fairly delicate state, I had no idea a few short hours later I’d be meeting Victorian prostitutes.

Now, I might have overindulged in festive cheer the night before, but I swear I’m not making it up.

These were actors – and they were among the cast of dozens that were at the Victorian Festival of Christmas at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard this weekend.

It was fantastic. From the ‘snow’ blowing about to the smells of the food, the stalls and those excellent actors, it was a hoot. If you didn’t get the chance to go this year, then do go next year. You get to see all the attractions, too, not to mention go on free harbour tours. It’s not bad as a hangover cure, either.
