Have your say

T here’s already intense speculation over who should replace Steve Cotterill.

I heard rumours former Cardiff boss Dave Jones was in the crowd for the visit of Barnsley, while others such as Billy Davies and Mark Robins have been touted.

They are all good managers, who have good records at Championship level.

But I’m going to put my support behind former Cherries boss Sean O’Driscoll.

I never got the opportunity to work with him at Bournemouth but I know for a fact he’s a very good and respected manager.

His sides always play attractive football and he has a good record of developing young players.

He can spot a decent talent a mile off, which should appeal to Pompey given the club isn’t exactly flush with cash.

Pompey have been slightly devoid of entertaining football in recent seasons but he’s the man to turn that around.
