I really believe that the NHS has got its priorities all wrong when it comes to IVF treatment.
The NHS nationally recommends three treatments, but in Hampshire you only get one. I suppose we should count ourselves lucky as in West Sussex it’s none!
Seriously, this is not good enough. People seeking IVF treatment long for children. They have tried in vain for years to start a family and this is their only hope.
These are responsible people with a strong family background. They deserve the opportunity to have children.
Maybe less money should be spent fitting gastric bands to fat people, or reduce the amount of breast enlargements and tattoo removals.
