Have your say

Have you ever played music wars on YouTube with your kids?

I spent half-an-hour swapping music videos with my nine-year-old. So, I’d watch one she’d chosen and then she’d reciprocate by sitting through one of mine.

It was an interesting time as we each tried to out-boogie the other. I had no idea she was into rap and she had no idea that I was so painfully old that half of my choices didn’t even come with videos.

Wave your arms if you remember Pan’s People on Top of the Pops.

But the main difference in the ones that had videos from my era was that the people were clothed in more than bikinis and underwear.

Does this make me a prude – or merely conscious of the possibilities of catching a cold?
