RICK JACKSON: Why aren’t we on the streets protesting about Brexit?

Have your say

Abig thumbs-up to the organisers and everyone involved in reviving the Southsea Show.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, it returned to thunderous applause.

I had my doubts that it could ever be as good as the shows I remember from my childhood, but it exceeded my expectations.

I had a blast trying scuba diving and got up close to some reptiles, plus the musical entertainment and colourful carnival was excellent.

It was also heartening to see that some charities benefited from the event and that many local businesses took part, bringing the community together as one.

But please, next year can we have some showjumping – even if I have to saddle up a horse myself!
