Professional tennis is not known for its humour.
Quite the opposite, in fact, as tournaments in recent years have been dominated by grim-faced Eastern Europeans – who all look and sound the same – clumping the ball back and forth in bouts of metronomic tedium.
So it was a pleasant surprise when – in the middle of an exhibition match – Caroline Wozniacki stuffed towels down the back of her knickers and in the front of her shirt to impersonate the voluptuous Serena Williams.
‘Racist!’ shrieked the po-faced fanatics, conveniently ignoring the fact that Williams and Wozniacki are good friends.
The real racists are those who – by their complaints – immediately categorise all black women as having generous bottoms and bosoms.
