LESLEY KEATING: Pole dancing’s not seedy – it’s vertical gymnastics

Have your say

I was listening to Radio 2 on Wednesday (turning 30 means I no longer tune into Radio 1), in particular Jeremy Vine’s live coverage of Margaret Thatcher’s funeral.

A phone-in invited people to ring in with their opinions of the Iron Lady and the big hoo-ha regarding the cost of her funeral.

A man from Winchester said he’d decided to go to London so he could turn his back on her coffin in protest.

Jeremy asked the man if he had personally been affected by the Thatcher years.

He said he’d recently been made redundant and blamed her.

So despite Jeremy saying that Mrs Thatcher hadn’t been in power for 20 years, this man thought him losing his job was her fault.
