What you really need to make your mark on The Apprentice is an eye for an accessory.

We all know business acumen isn’t as important as a memorable personality at this early stage of the show. You don’t really need to display any genuine common sense until the interview stage. But if you’re not going to win, you might as well make a lasting impression.

Well done then Edna Agbarha for bringing out full-length gloves – and for previous contestant, Lucinda Ledgerwood, who had a penchant for berets.

If the current crop of boys are smart they’ll take note – I expect to see fedoras and cravats in future episodes.
