Talking about changes, it’s probably time I told you all I’m no longer The News’s business editor.

I’ve left this fantastic paper for pastures new, but I’ll still be here every Monday, writing about things that amuse, confuse, rile or intrigue me.

During the past four years with the paper I’ve done some fantastic things, like driving Rolls-Royces, not quite meeting the Queen and generally getting to wander around warships with pleasing frequency.

Best of all, though, I got to meet some people who are changing the world, one small corner at a time.

When I was young my parents and my gran would sit down over a Sunday roast and discuss what had been in The News. I’m looking forward to doing that again.
