Have your say

I think we can safely assume Jeremy Clarkson’s views on public sector workers who go on strike, and people who commit suicide, are now fairly well-known.

He has been paid good money to commit them to print, and when people took offence he was very quick to cite the principle of free speech as justification for his actions.

However, it was interesting to learn from his first wife that, although Clarkson has always been very good at dishing it out, it seems he can’t take it.

The only reason we now know this very interesting fact is because he recently lifted the superinjunction he placed on her to prevent her talking about their life together.

So much for the importance and sanctity of free speech.
