For years we’ve fought for the streets of Portsmouth and now there’s a new kid in town.
Taxis scoot through the back streets like king rats running through an underground maze, until you come to the Mexican stand-off.
Face-to-face, bumper-to-bumper, who will back down first?
But now the cap-toting supermarket delivery driver is swaggering through our streets – wide van, big attitude and little respect.
He’s got three bags to deliver and he’s happy to stop anywhere, put his hazard lights on and make you wait until he’s ready.
At least taxi drivers play the game and give you a courteous wave on the way through.
