Have your say

Ican’t quite believe it’s been a year since the way was cleared in the High Court for the Pompey Supporters’ Trust to become the majority owners of Portsmouth Football Club. A lot’s been written in The News this week about it – and rightly so – for it was a great occasion in football history.

Pompey may now be in the middle of a battle to stay in the Football League, but on that day the PST became giantkillers – succeeding against the odds to keep the club in existence.

I’ve never been in a room with so many people crying all at once when it was announced the deal had been done. I was a witness to it, not a part of it, but it was a huge privilege to be able to see history happen.

Well done the PST – you absolutely did it.
