Costa coffee is now everywhere. In fact I’m thinking of opening a branch in my conservatory.
It’s great how we’re turning our backs on that vile-tasting instant stuff and, like the French and Italians, insisting on great coffee.
You still can’t beat an espresso in a chic Parisian cafe, but things are looking up. Costa has even made it on to an Isle of Wight car ferry, along with an art gallery no less – very posh!
In the 1970s, kids’ paintings adorned the walls of the dark, dingy lower lounge of the old diesel boats, So I hope this one is better!
With islanders getting Costa, do you think there’s a chance of introducing a Klix machine on our little Gosport ferry?
