Have your say

I haven’t been watching this year’s X Factor for several reasons.

I’m not going to be here to watch the final, I can’t stand the judges and I remember complaining about it too much last year.

However, I did have a quick look at the repeat on Sunday and what a load of rubbish it is this year. Apart from the odd bit of talent, the contestants are weak, the judges are even weaker and the whole thing looks like it should go away and come back another day – with Simon Cowell. That’s what’s missing, Simon.

For someone who is so in tune with the entertainment industry, you’d think he would have noticed the problem with the ratings and admitted that perhaps he’s got it wrong.

People don’t watch for the talent. They watch it for him.
