Iwatched BBC One’s singing talent show last weekend and I have to admit to being rather impressed by The Voice’s format.
Yes there are more than a few cheesy elements to the show, most notably the dramatic turning of the chairs.
But I liked the fact that they can only judge them purely on their talent and not put a contestant through on their likeability factor.
This makes it feel credible although, in my opinion, Tom Jones has an air about him that brings down the show’s genuine and down-to-earth feel.
Everyone’s opting for Jessie J to be their mentor, although given his astonishingly good looks and laid-back charm, it’s The Script’s Danny all the way for me!
