Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack has defended her relationship with One Direction star Harry Styles because his fans have complained that she’s a cradle-snatcher.

She’s 32 and he’s 17. But, if you’re a grown woman, there must be a couple of advantages of going out with a 17-year-old male pop star.

I can think of a couple. You’ll get to go to lots of pop star parties and because he can’t legally drink, but he can legally drive, you’ve got a guaranteed lift home for the evening and you can save on taxi fares. And, with your experience, you can have fun showing a 17-year-old boy how to do things they’ve never done in the bedroom before... like tidying it!

Gary Barlow, hot off his stint as an X Factor judge, wants Take That to play smaller venues. The 40-year-old singer has performed two solo shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall recently, and would love for his man band, who have only played stadiums and large arenas since reforming in 2005, to play an intimate show at the 5,000 seat venue.

Justin Bieber appears to have suffered a mystery leg injury after he was photographed with a bandaged left calf. The Baby hitmaker is on holiday with girlfriend Selena Gomez in the luxury resort of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, as he takes a break from promoting his Christmas album.

Florence Welch says she feels her best and ‘special’ when she hasn’t slept for 24 hours. The Florence and the Machine singer added, ‘You know when you’ve been at a party and the dawn rises? Everything seems to be really open. The reason why it’s so special is because you know that it’s going to crash. As soon as you go to sleep, you know everything will be reset double and work will be double.’

Kiss rocker Gene Simmons has blasted the choice of Madonna to sing at next year’s Superbowl saying she’d become a ‘karaoke singer’. The God of Thunder singer continued: ‘By the way, Madonna’s terrific. I [just] hate the tapes. I hate dancers. I don’t think it’s appropriate, but that doesn’t matter. If you’re going to get up, do it real. Do a real band or tell everybody it’s a tape.’
