And for my last mention of the Olympics, I just have to talk about the amount of jewellery that all the athletes wear.

It makes a mockery of my old PE teacher and the current schools which my children attend.

They all have policies which are very against decoration of any form in the sporting arena.

But watching the action on track at the moment is like looking at an H Samuel’s window display on a nightly basis.

I love it, the bling, but it doesn’t stop with the jewellery.

Long hair has been left to swing and the nails...wow.

Who said sport was dull?

Having said that, I really wouldn’t want to be the PE teacher who has to pick up the pieces come September.
