ZELLA COMPTON: Think hard: is it really worth going to uni?

Have your say

My favourite TV ad at the moment has to be Three’s moonwalking Shetland pony Socks.

It’s not just because I love equines, but also for the fabulous scenery in this remote and rugged part of Scotland.

Years ago I spent a week there away from the hustle and bustle of city life, in the wilderness on the outskirts of Lerwick.

But I didn’t see any dancing ponies. Obviously they’ve learned a thing or two since those days.

But they did chase me across the hills and I did experience a nip on my bottom.

They’re feisty, cute and comical so it’s no surprise how popular Socks has become.

No doubt the toy manufactors have picked up on this, so expect cuddly prancing ponies in time for Christmas.
